Places to Visit 3: Blenheim Palace

Visit Blenheim Palace

I'm lucky to live near enough to Blenheim Palace to visit quite regularly. The advantage of this is that, with their year pass (which costs only one days entry) I can see it a little bit at a time. There is enough there for a whole day out, however, should you be travelling from further afield. Historical wise- there is the house which includes a very interesting experience telling the story of the house. There is also an exhibition about Sir Winston Churchill. If you bring children, then there are wonderful pleasure ground, as well as a miniture train which runs throughout the summer. There are often special events as well- I had a great time attending the jousting earlier this year.

Over to you?
Have you ever been to Blenheim Palace? If so, do tell us about your visit.
What places do you visit near you?

Tomorrow, I'll be sharing another 'Suggested Activity' on 'Crafty Creations' in the morning, and then asking you to tell us your own 'Crafty Capers' in the afternoon.
